I’m Jermaine DeShields, a professional pianist, music producer, and educator with over 12 years of international performance experience. My style blends R&B, hip hop, gospel, jazz, classical, and contemporary influences, with a focus on expressive chord voicings, groove-driven playing, and a modern musical approach.

I’ve had the opportunity to perform in multiple countries, bringing versatility to both live settings and studio work. Whether I’m playing in lounges and restaurants or creating melodies and arrangements for original music, I approach every performance with creativity and feel. As a producer working in Ableton Live, I combine traditional piano skills with modern production techniques to create a sound that connects with today’s audience.

Teaching is a big part of what I do. I’ve worked with students of all ages, from complete beginners to developing musicians. My approach is practical, engaging, and focused on helping students build confidence while learning real-world skills like chords, rhythm, ear training, and songwriting.
