Piano Lessons in University City

Hi! My name is Ms. Kaylee (or Ms. Kay) and I have been teaching piano for around 5 years now and guitar for 1 year! I started learning piano when I was just 4 years old and have achieved the Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC) certificate of merit state honors in the advanced level by 14 years old. I love educating individuals of all ages about music and music theory and love to learn about my students as well! I always ask what type of music and what songs my students listen to in order to build up piano skills fit for playing their favorite songs :) I am very open minded, friendly, and strive to have strong communication between lessons - providing feedback after each lesson is very important to both me and the student in order for growth on both our ends! Beginner students should expect to learn something new each lesson, and intermediate through advanced students should expect real, knowledgable feedback after each lesson; my goal is to always provide encouragement and improve your abilities and skills while keeping it fun and engaged.
