Hi! I'm Karolyn, and I've been teaching the piano for over 20 years. I specialize in teaching students how to read notation, practice effectively and enjoy playing. I have a degree in Piano Performance from Berklee College of Music where I studied classical, jazz and music theory. My passion is to teach others how to play, and my approach is friendly, accessible and encouraging! I have extensive experience working with children, teens, adults and seniors, and I strive to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and celebrating their achievements. Whether your goal is to play for personal enjoyment, prepare for performances, or build a strong musical foundation, I am committed to helping you succeed.
