Piano Lessons in Laguna Beach

Hello:) My name is Danielle Cooke. I am a musician, teacher, performing artist, recording artist, and composer. I have always had a passion for music even as a child. I studied opera and classical piano as a kid. I graduated with BA in Music at Cal State Long Beach. I ventured into playing and singing jazz, blues, pop, and rock post college. I began teaching students all genres as well. I love working on sight reading, technique, artistry, and agility with my students. I have worked with students of all ages and levels. I usually have students work in a sight reading book, hanon exercises, and method books by Bastien for beginners. Once the student learns a basic knowledge of how to read music we pick songs they enjoy and want to learn. I have students who learn with lead sheets and sing. My goal is to turn my students into great and passionate musicians.
