Piano Lessons in Lakeside

Hi there, I'm Kaden. I am an professional musician and piano teacher for beginner and intermediate level students. I have experience working with ages 5 and up. My musical experience goes back 10 years, having started lessons of my own in my adolescence and I am now pursuing college level degree in music with a focus on piano performance. I have garnered this experience to perform as a working musician in many settings ranging from restaurants, company events, care facilities, and private parties/events.

I have college-level education in piano, music theory and performance studies. My educational background is in classical and jazz piano, however, I love playing pop, film and game soundtracks, as well as other genres. In my work as a performer and teacher I am able to utilize my expertise to explain and apply musical fundamentals, vocabulary, history, repertoire, and other related topics.

My teaching approach is student-focused, with priorities in student satisfaction, growth and enjoyment. It is important to me that, in music, my students are pursuing their desired outcomes and seeing their own development along the way. In my own experience with taking lessons, I have learned that motivation comes from within and having attainable goals is one of, if not the best, way to find fulfilment in music. I love guiding people in their journey and seeing them explore the world of music and find the parts of it that they are passionate about.
