Piano Lessons in Belmont Shore

Hello! My name is Miss Bri and I am a passionate and experienced piano, voice, and acting coach. I have been teaching for almost 4 years since graduating CSULB with a degree in Theatre. I am currently pursuing my masters degree from NYU in Vocal Performance and I have been studying music, including piano and singing, for over 20 years.

I specialize in teaching musical theatre, voice, and youth piano. I have taught in elementary schools, after school programs, and studios as well as students homes and online. I also can teach acting, audition techniques, college audition prep, and basic music theory. I also have experience and currently work with special-needs children teach teaching music as a developmental tool.

I enjoy teaching in a positive yet constructive way and building a good foundation that encourages independence and creativity in my students. This includes learning the fundamentals of music theory and reading music. as well as proper vocal technique and placement. This allows you to develop the fundamentals and understand your voice before you begin to sing complicated pieces so that you are properly trained in vocal health. I believe each student is different and in my experience different styles of teaching can work better for different people so I like to establish my teaching style with a student after a few lessons of feeling out what it is you are looking for. I am very passionate about music and the performing arts and love having students who take lessons in multiple disciplines. I believe in a casual and calm yet focused approach to teaching that allows us to work on the things that you want to work on while also building the necessary skills.
