“I specialize in Jazz Piano”
About Me
I’m a piano instructor with a background in jazz piano and studies at Berklee College of Music. My musical journey began at age seven, when I discovered a deep connection to the piano through performing with local bands and church groups. Discovering the music of Charlie Parker inspired my passion for jazz, creativity, and musical expression.
After being accepted to Berklee in 2018, I developed carpal tunnel syndrome, an experience that transformed my understanding of piano technique and sound production. Through recovery, I focused deeply on posture, relaxation, body awareness, and healthy movement, learning how physical freedom directly shapes tone, touch, and musical expression.
Today, I teach students of all levels in Los Angeles using a multi-method approach that combines technique, ear training, improvisation, creativity, and musical literacy. I place special emphasis on helping students develop a beautiful piano sound, expressive touch, and artistic sensitivity while building confidence and strong foundational skills.
