Piano Lessons in Hollywood Hills West

I am a classically trained pianist with a Doctorate from the University of Maryland. I am actively working as a vocal coach and accompanist at CalArts, the LA Philharmonic and freelancing around town and in other states. Previously I worked at UCLA, AMDA and LA Opera.

Most recently I accompanied a new opera with the LA Philharmonic and I just came back from a month-long tour around the US, performing the musical RENT.

I teach students based on their level in classical and pop styles, and my approach is a healthy dose of Eastern European discipline and rigor with American softness and play - both necessary for growth and enjoyment.

I am flexible and teach either online or at my or my students’ home.

I also offer voice lessons, as I am a singer and songwriter myself, and I have been working closely with singers throughout my career - particularly in the opera world.
