Piano Lessons in Mount Washington

I am a graduate of The Juilliard School, where I studied bass, piano, and composition with members of the New York Philharmonic and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Nationally, I have performed at such notable venues as The Blue Note, The Highline Ballroom, Sullivan Hall, and The Kennedy Center.

For the past 14 years, I have dedicated his time to teaching piano, bass, guitar and drums. He enjoys teaching students of all levels and ages, and is particularly passionate about songwriting and composition. I love witnessing his students go from their first lesson to their first concert and beyond. I have taught music lessons in Michigan (Axis Music Academy and Grosse Pointe Music Academy), New York (Musipire and Bennett Academy of Music) and Los Angeles (South Pasadena Arts and Music Academy and San Marino Music Center).

I am passionate about teaching students to play and master their instruments while focusing on what inspires and motivates them about music. I start by exploring the student’s goals and the music they enjoy, and then make a plan that allows them to gain the skills they need while still having fun, all the while progressing at a steady pace.

I use my music education, teaching expertise, and skills across multiple instruments to provide an enhanced experience tailored to each student’s individual needs.

Whether it is taking students from their first lesson to their first performance, or taking the proficient player to the next level, I enjoy showing students how to play the songs they want while building a strong foundation that allows for continued growth.
