Piano Lessons in Manchester

My name is Mrs. Alana West. I love teaching piano because it is so important for students, once they learn the notes. They can play anything written in their ability. I start off with a by ear pitch of notes to find out if they can pick out the notes by ear. It gets easier as they do it. Then I put a brief musical note arrangement by me in front of them with only the notes they know. They try to play it and it also gets easier as they continue! Then to their lesson, in a book that I've assigned. They will work on 2 to three songs at the beginner level. As they progress there will be longer pieces with more pages. There will be fingerings exercises to to increase skills. I like to give one popular piece of music and one classical piece of music and find if they like a song that is in either one for a special 3rd song.
