Piano Lessons in Mars Hill

Hi I'm Jessie and I am a classically trained harpist that has also been providing piano instruction for children from 4yrs + for the last 12 years.

I am also able to provide early guitar lessons as well as harp lessons from beginner to advanced.

My teaching style meets each child, young and not so young, where they are and balances technique and theory knowledge with a repertoire of fun, enjoyable music each student is excited and motivated to learn.

I encourage students to be able to play by ear, if that is their goal, but also focus on having the knowledge to read music as well.

My hope and desire for all my students is to help cultivate a love of music and the confidence to share that music with others, whether that is playing for family in a living room or for an audience on a theater stage!
