Piano Lessons in Midway

Music has been a central part of my life for many years, and teaching piano has become one of my greatest passions. I began playing piano for my church at just 12 years old, which gave me early experience performing regularly and developing confidence as a musician. By the age of 13, I had already started teaching formal piano lessons at my school, and since then I’ve continued helping students grow in both skill and confidence.

I specialize in teaching beginner to intermediate students and enjoy working with children, teens, and adults who are excited to learn in a supportive environment. My teaching includes gospel, worship, contemporary piano, music theory, sight reading, technique development, ear training, and standard notation reading. I believe learning piano should be both structured and enjoyable, so I personalize lessons to fit each student’s goals, learning style, and pace.

Whether a student wants to play for church, learn their favorite songs, improve their musical understanding, or simply build a new skill, I aim to create lessons that are encouraging, engaging, and rewarding. My goal as a teacher is not only to help students become better pianists, but also to help them develop confidence, discipline, creativity, and a genuine love for music that lasts for years to come.
