Piano Lessons in Moline

Hello. I have been a private piano teacher for over 20 years. I have an Associates in Arts with a piano major from Black Hawk College. I have taught all age ranges from 4 years old to late adult. I use the Piano Adventures series for all my students. There are books for all age ranges. This set includes a lesson book, performance book, technique book, and theory book for the early learners and an all-in-one book for the adult learners. I also encourage my students to purchase the flashcard set that goes along with this series. This addition helps to cement musical terms into the students brains. I am an easygoing teacher who moves at the students pace. I encourage my students to utilize the extra books in the series such as: Jazz & Blues, Classics, Rock & Roll, China, and many more to get a full experience in all types of music. I make sure to include sight reading, duet playing, and chord knowledge in our lessons to round out the students skill set. For those students who want to push their skills, I heavily encourage including extra music past their lesson level to speed up learning.
