Piano Lessons in Manhattan

As an educator of 6 years, I'm all about creating a solid foundation for my students. Whether it's composition, theory, or piano, my approach is rooted in teaching the techniques and practice structures that build strong musicians. I've spent years studying composition and conducting, which has given me a deep understanding of music from different angles. This helps me tailor my teaching to each student's unique needs and goals.

My experience includes studying composition at The Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, where I learned from Michael Hersch and am now continuing my graduate studies with Alyssa Weinberg. I've also studied conducting privately with Harlan Parker, which has broadened my perspective on music education. Adding to this, I will be attending the Manhattan School of Music for Postgraduate Studies. These experiences have shaped my teaching style, emphasizing a blend of technical skill and creative expression.

I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to explore their musical potential. By focusing on solid practice habits and a deep understanding of musical techniques, I aim to equip my students with the tools they need to succeed and grow as musicians.
