Harlem-born, Shomari {‘Mari`Kamau} Chinnery is a musician, composer & producer.

From a young age, music has always stood out to Mr. Chinnery, even at a subconscious level. As he grew older and became exposed to live music, the appreciation for music turned into a passion.

While looking at artists like Bob Marley, Maroon 5, Stevie Wonder & Burning Flames, he founded the eclectic band “SweeterBlend”, who plays a variety of genres with includes (but not limited to) Soca, Reggae, Pop, Kompa, R&B, & Zouk.

Having an eclectic ear & a global image in his perspective, he has been able to share an insight that is truly empowering our youth in critical thinking aspects of life; one tool that can open many doors for them in life is music (by way of music theory).

Confident in his abilities to show & share the patterns of piano, articulating sound, & the emotions it communicates, he teaches music as another language to connect to, & express your most inner thoughts and feelings with.

Using fun & memorable techniques and keywords that will spark & bloom any mind to look at the piano (& in turn, life) with a creative approach while anchoring the basics of navigating the instrument.
