Piano Lessons in Toluca Lake

I am both a self-taught and trained musician. What that means is that I have both been learning how I learn music best, as well as learning from great teachers and musicians my whole life. Everyone thinks of music in their own way, and I feel like my job is to help people figure out what way works best for them. When I was young I took piano lessons AND learned how to play songs by ear. Now I can learn songs quickly by ear and read music from a score or chord chart, and it is a wonderful feeling being able to hear a song one time and start playing it immediately. I feel like that dual experience has enabled me to become a good musician and especially a good teacher. I have taught all ages in my life, from elementary school-aged children to adults, and I really feel that there is never a bad time to start learning an instrument, especially the piano.
