Hello Prospective Student!

As a musician, educator, composer, and producer with fifteen years of professional experience, I would be thrilled to bring my abilities to teaching you!

I’m a pianist and vocalist with classical, jazz, and contemporary training and I hold a degree in Media Scoring and Production from the Frost School at University of Miami. I also have perfect pitch which allows me to effortlessly learn, recall, transpose, and arrange songs —a skill that has proven invaluable in both teaching and performance.

I've worked under TV and film composers, written catalog and custom music for brands like Apple. As a keyboardist, I’ve worked with label-backed artists such as Lilyisthatyou (Warner), Virginia to Vegas, demotapes, and Emyrson Flora.

I’ve taught a wide range of students - young beginners to professional artists. I currently teach group classes on Saturdays in addition to working with private students. My approach is individually tailored, though I emphasize the importance of a strong musical baseline (scales, chords, rhythm, harmonic function, accompanying style, and reading music). I hope that everyone be able to truly understand music as well as create it.
