Piano Lessons in Downtown

I started teaching when I was an undergrad student, majoring in music performance. I have taught all ages but am most comfortable with children and adults. I took a hiatus when I was a full-time church music director but would like to return to teaching. I'm a very easygoing person with a lot of patience. I also taught class piano on the college level for credit. I no longer accompany and/ or play for church. It wasn't an option on this application but I also teach hymnody. I played for and directed a praise and worship band as well as classical church music groups. I use to sing but don't anymore. I love one on one teaching. I will come to your home for lessons. I do have a digital piano in my apartment but it needs some repair. I have really missed teaching piano and would love to get back into it.
