Piano Lessons in Orlando

I am Ali White, and I'm a pianist currently in undergrad at the University of Central Florida! I've been playing piano professionally for about 3 years, with a specialty in jazz performance, and been composing for longer. Most of my expertise can be found in my understanding of music theory and composition, but I am an active performer on the regular.

I began piano lessons when I was 8, instructed by the gospel keyboardist from my church at the time, but my interest in the craft really only boomed in late high school, when I was fascinated by video game soundtracks. I was always amazed by how composers managed to weave together a story purely with sound. In an effort to understand, I played video game music by ear, and the rest is history.

As far as teaching goes, I have been available for private lessons since I began my time at UCF, and teach in a way that is primarily tailored to the experience and level of the learning musician. The styles of instruction between piano performance, music composition, and music theory are very different, so if there is any focus you wish to bring to the lesson, let me know, and we can come up with something that best suits you!
