Piano Lessons in College Park

I am a professional pianist with over 35 years of experience as a piano accompanist in public schools and churches. Throughout my career, I have supported choirs, instrumentalists, and vocalists in rehearsals, worship services, concerts, and special events. I also have more than 20 years of successful teaching experience with both children and adults. My goal as a teacher is to help students build a strong musical foundation while developing confidence and enjoyment in playing the piano.

In addition to teaching, I have over 35 years of performing experience in classical music. My performances include solo recitals, concerto appearances, and chamber music concerts in both South Korea and the United States. I have collaborated with many instrumentalists and singers during my years of performing and teaching.

In my lessons, students learn music notes, rhythm, and basic music theory so they can understand how to read and play music independently. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and encouraging for students of all levels.
