Piano Lessons in Plantation Bay

I have been teaching piano since 2017. I’ve been playing the piano since I was 4 years old. My memorable achievements is winning 1st place at the International Colibri Competition. After this, I was part of the Honor Roll in the Certificate of Merit Program for 4 years in a row, excelling at ear training and music theory. I’ve also been accompanying choirs since I was 13 years old. Recently, 4 months ago, I performed with the music school I teach at in Weill Recital Hall in New York. I attended the University of North Florida for my Master’s Degree in Piano Performance with an assistantship.

Regarding teaching, I started teaching in 2017, with a grand piano at my in-home studio. I have a student-centered teaching philosophy, where the student is an active participant in the learning process. Through this, students have the freedom and support to choose their own pieces and dynamics. I try to create a calming, supportive environment for the student, and I believe that catering to the student’s individual learning styles is the best approach. I’ve prepared students for music school recitals twice a year.

My most recent student success story is when one of them performed at the music school recital. She tends to be shy, so she wrote me a card saying that I helped her find confidence and a deeper love for music. I wanted to help her push out of her comfort zone and achieve her full potential, gaining more confidence in the process. As a result, she was poised and graceful on stage.
