Piano Lessons in Northeast Raleigh

I studied for 5 years with private instructors as a child and studied music theory in public school. I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2000. I studied ear training, harmony, writing skills, transcription, and many other subjects.

Since moving back to North Carolina, i have provided piano music services for many churches. I also perform solo piano for weddings, private and corporate events, private parties, and other events.

I have also performed live in various bands across North Carolina including with “Saxy and the Thrill”, “Southpaw Soul”’ “Skintight”, and “Steve Jack and the Cadillacs”. I also won a Carolina Music Award for my performances with country band “Southbound 85”.

I decided to start teaching in 2021 and have taught out in the community for the past five years. Being able to teach the student the ability to be able to express themselves is probably the most rewarding part of teaching.
