Piano Lessons in Inner Richmond

I have been teaching private piano, teacher training and coaching young professionals since the early 80s when I completed my Master's Degree. My studies including the University of Texas-Austin, Carnegie-Mellon University and international studies with Nadia Boulanger in Paris and Edith Lateiner-Grosz in Amsterdam. I left the U.S. in 1989 to pursue graduate study in Europe and, with the fall of the Berlin Wall and the USSR, was swept up into a recital and soloist career performing American composers and genres in over 125 countries on six continents. I created a non-program org, American Voices (americanvoices dot org) as my career and demand for expanded American-themed programming grew. I established summer conservatory camps, YES Academies, that continue to this day in Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and beyond. In addition to my training as a pianist, I am also licensed in Dalcroze Eurhythmics and have extensive experience in training future piano teachings, career advice for those seeking international performance and work opportunities. I have also worked extensively as a collaborative pianist with singers in classical and Musical Theater repertoire as well as in chamber music and new music. I am excited to work with motivated students from age 10 and feel I have the most to offer to those planning to study music professionally, recent graduates and adult amateurs. I can teach in my home in Inner Richmond, San Francisco or travel to most homes in the city limits and Sausalito. I look forward to hearing from you!
