Piano Lessons in Oregon Coast

I am a passionate and dedicated music educator with over 10 years of piano training and a deep love for helping students grow in both skill and confidence. Music has been a meaningful part of my life from a young age, and I strive to pass that same sense of joy, curiosity, and accomplishment on to my students. In 2023, I taught piano at Happy Valley Arts Academy, where I worked with students of varying ages and experience levels. My teaching focused on building strong fundamentals, developing musical expression, and creating a positive, supportive learning environment where students felt encouraged to try, learn, and improve.

In addition to piano, my musical background includes extensive experience in band. I was a star student in my high school band program, earning awards for both musicianship and leadership, and I proudly led the drumline during my time there. These experiences helped shape my strong sense of rhythm, discipline, teamwork, and leadership—skills that continue to influence my teaching style today.

I believe learning music should be both structured and enjoyable. My lessons balance technique and creativity, helping students build confidence while having fun along the way. I aim to make each lesson engaging, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s individual goals, learning style, and pace, so they can grow not only as musicians, but as confident learners.
