Piano Lessons in Sherwood - Tualatin North

I am a Master of Sacred Music from The University of Notre Dame. I trained in Voice, Organ, and Harpsichord, and performed on organ, piano, harpsichord, singing. My approach to teaching is the intersection between goal oriented, historical teaching practices, and science based technique. It is important in my teaching to establish the main goals of the student and adjusting a sequence plan to equip the students to achieve their goals. I am a believer that music is a channel for self expression, music is for everyone, and the learning environment is a safe space.

From the earliest points of my career, I have had to be versed in many different styles of music and using healthful science based technique to navigate the different styles that students may be presented with. As a young performer I had to learn how to navigate that, and being able to help a student navigate those new horizons is a joy.
