Piano Lessons in St Louis

I am a piano and music instructor with over 12 years of teaching experience, supported by a strong academic background with a Master of Arts in Piano. Throughout my journey as an educator, I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners and young children to adult learners and students preparing for performances, competitions, or examinations.

My teaching philosophy goes beyond simply helping students play the correct notes. I focus on developing true musical understanding, artistic expression, ear training, confidence, discipline, and long-term musicianship. Every student learns differently, so I personalize each lesson plan based on the student’s goals, personality, learning pace, and musical interests rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

What makes my lessons valuable is the combination of technical training and deeper musical development. Students not only improve their piano skills, but also learn music theory, musical interpretation, effective practice strategies, and how to build a strong musical foundation that lasts for years. I strive to create a positive, encouraging, and inspiring learning environment where students genuinely enjoy the process of learning music.
