Piano Lessons in Tamarac

Hi! My name is Darlecia, and music has been a part of the majority of my life. I began taking piano seriously around the age of 8, and from that point on I fell in love with learning, practicing, and performing music. Over the years, I developed strong skills in classical piano while also expanding into voice and ukulele. I began teaching at 18 and have truly enjoyed helping students grow in both confidence and ability ever since. My students usually call me Mrs. Meha or Ms. B.

In addition to teaching music, I am also a regular school teacher, which has helped me develop strong patience, communication skills, and the ability to connect with students of different ages and learning styles. I understand how important it is to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace.

Music has also been a meaningful part of my personal life through singing on worship teams, which has strengthened both my vocal experience and my passion for performing with others. Being involved in worship music has taught me the importance of expression, confidence, teamwork, and using music as a way to connect with people emotionally.

I believe every student learns differently, which is why I focus on creating lessons that are personalized, patient, supportive, and encouraging. My goal is to help students feel comfortable while also challenging them to grow and reach their full potential. I enjoy making lessons engaging and rewarding so students not only improve their skills, but also develop a genuine love and appreciation for music.

Whether a student is completely new to music or already has experience, I work hard to adapt lessons to their individual goals, learning style, and pace. I strive to create a positive environment where students feel motivated, proud of their progress, and excited to continue learning each week. Watching students improve over time and gain confidence in themselves is one of the most rewarding parts of being a teacher.
