Piano Lessons in Ellenton

My name is Brad and I was born with the ability to listen to a piece of music and play it with only a few minutes of practicing the piece. Because my parents recognized this talent, I was put into professional piano lessons at the age of 3 and continued taking private lessons until I was 21 years old. My last teacher was a Russian professor who gave me professional classical lessons at the Eastman School of Music as she was also a member of the faculty there.

I started teaching when I was 17 years old and continued for the next 7 years of my life, with students ranging from 4 to 65 years old. One particular year I finished out having a roster of 82 students that I gave lessons to from September to May. I was able to hand most of those students over to 3 separate teachers.

Some of my former students have gone on to acquire degrees in music, grow into performance pianists and some have even traveled with a band or musical group. Besides teaching, I have also composed and authored over 50 pieces of music, and even had the chance to transcribe and publish most of them myself. Music is a language that crosses cultures, time, emotions, and hearts. We will always do well to allow it to speak to us in every part of our lives.
