Piano Lessons in Chatsworth

Hello I’m James and I’ve been playing piano and drums now for over 18 years. I have been singing for 16 years. I started out playing percussion in concert band, then played drums in a classic rock band, sang in choirs, a cappella groups, and ensembles. I went to college at NYU Tisch’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music where I heavily studied composition, performance, music theory, music production, and arranging. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2019, I have taught piano, vocals, and drums all over helping students of all ages reach their musical goals. Whether you want just want to learn how to start your instrument from scratch, or you want to go deep down a musical rabbit hole of jazz, classical, gospel, R&B, rock, pop or folk, I’m happy to help you learn it all and have fun along the way! I also can teach music production in programs like Logic Pro, Ableton, and Protools.
