Greetings!

My name is Kerri Sanders, and I am a pianist, organist, and music educator with over 25 years of teaching and performance experience. I work with students of all ages and skill levels, offering individualized piano lessons built on strong fundamentals and practical musicianship. My background includes classical training, church and sacred music, accompaniment, and contemporary and popular styles.

In my teaching, I focus on technique, note reading, rhythm, sight‑reading, and applied music theory, while keeping lessons engaging and goal‑focused. I tailor instruction to each student’s interests, whether that means classical repertoire, hymns, pop music, or developing accompaniment skills. I believe students learn best in a supportive, encouraging environment where progress is steady and expectations are clear.

My goal as a teacher is to help students gain confidence, enjoy the learning process, and develop skills they can use for a lifetime, whether they play for personal enjoyment, performance, or service in their community.
