Piano Lessons in Westfield

My name is Justin Kellner. I’ve been playing piano since I was 7 years old, after my parents got me a keyboard for Christmas. I also play guitar, bass guitar, trumpet, and harmonica. My teaching style is laid back, but interesting. I’ve taught music at the East Mountain Road Transition program in Westfield, teaching young students transitioning to adulthood. I taught them how to play pop songs on various musical instruments. I taught student's how to play chords, how to solo, and how to read music. I also taught them about time signatures, dynamics, and musical terms. I majored in music and got a bachelor’s degree at Westfield State University. I majored in jazz guitar, and took many piano classes. I was in the Old Post Road Orchestra in Wilbraham MA, and am currently in a Jazz band and a guitar ensemble. My styles of music I teach are pop, rock, jazz, blues, and classical.
