About Me
As an experienced pianist of 10+ years with a Bachelor's degree in Performance Arts and 3+ years of teaching music in the public school system, I specialize in personalized piano lessons tailored for kids, adults, beginner, and intermediate players.
My expertise includes Reading/Writing Music Notation, Ear Training, Improvisation, Chord Theory, Sight Reading, and more! With a focus on Rhythmic Timing, Developing Performance Skills, and Building Repertoire, I will do my best to provide a comprehensive learning experience that continues to challenge learners as they progress in their understanding of Piano and Music Theory, at their own pace.
I offer lessons focused on Classical, Jazz, Blues, Rock, and Contemporary styles, fostering a deep understanding of each style. From mastering scales and arpeggios to refining pedaling techniques and sight reading, I do my best to cover all bases. My approach allows students to explore multiple styles or find and hone-in on one style in particular.
Whether you're just starting or looking to enhance your skills, I intentionally design lesson plans for each individual student to unlock full potential with engaging lessons that inspire growth and creativity.

It certainly doesn't have to be — piano can be scaffolded to make learning very simple over time and can be extremely fun to explore creatively!
Does piano take a long time to learn?
I believe learning is something that never stops, and that the more you learn, the more you are capable of doing. I have been learning piano 10+ years and still learn more and more with every song, every performance, and every creative moment.
Do you teach in-person?
I sure do! Lessons are offered from my private home-studio.
Do you teach online?
Absolutely! Whether its for convenience, comfort, or necessity, I am available and flexible to all student needs.
