Piano Lessons in Winter Springs

Hello! My name is Dani, and I've been teaching music theory and application since 2019. I've taught a variety of ages, and I believe in focusing heavily on understanding the music in order to effectively learn and play independently, as independence is always the main priority! I've found that the best way to learn is through appreciation for music we already like, which often means finding songs we enjoy and learning all the theory from that instead of reading directly from a practice book or solely working on technique! It's very important to me that all of my students learn to foster and/or maintain a love for the music they play, not just learn it. We can pace it as fast or slow as we need to, and you can be assured that you are always supported in your individual goals, whether you want to begin learning seriously or you just have a budding interest in the activity!

I am skilled in many piano-based instruments, and am also available for lessons in front-ensemble practice (such as xylophone, marimba, vibraphone, glockenspiel, etc). If you are interested in learning more about techniques or reading the music, please feel free to reach out!

In our lessons, you can expect to focus on practical application of music theory, which means developing a fundamental understanding of the music itself and learning how to read and interpret it in order to gain independence for other music you might be interested in! I can offer structure and discipline, but I also believe in letting you set the pace, so you'll never be pushed harder than you are comfortable with.
