My name is Christopher Stott but please feel free to call me Chris

Its been a while since I have taught piano but music is something I would definitely enjoy getting back to, teaching being one such outlet.

I do online lessons so I hope you all have a piano or keyboard at your house you can use while we learn how to express ourselves at the piano.

I can trace the way I learned how to play all the way back to almost time immemorial tracing things back to J.S. Bach. I had the pleasure to work with very talented people who taught me how to play and it is indubitably a pleasure to teach and pass that along to everyone from ages 8 to 80.

Teaching is not something a factory process its something which should be tailored to fit the needs of every person which is why in my initial meeting with a first time student, I would like to devote a good amount of time to see where the student would like to go with the piano musically and where their true and genuine interests are. From there, we begin the adventure and set sail

A little about me: I started off studying piano when I was about 5 or 6. I studied concert piano and music composition in college. I have done some other things in my career but music is where I belong
