Piano Lessons in Ardmore

At age four, I studied piano with professional teachers. Over the years, I have become a multi-instrumentalist, adding violin, guitar and ukulele while moving fluidly between classical technique and contemporary styles. In high school, I was deeply involved in ensembles of every kind: concert band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, percussion ensemble, pep band and musical theater. As Pit Orchestra Leader for Harriton Theater Company, I taught peers their music parts, led rehearsals, and performed piano for the musical. Additionally, I photographed, advertised, and designed social media posts for Tri M Honors Society community outreach, increasing members three-fold.

Since 2022, I have taught students ages 4–50 not only on musical instruments, but also as a science and art teacher. As of 2025, I am a multi-instrumental teacher for Meridee Winters School of Music, teaching piano, guitar, violin and ukulele. My one-on-one music lessons are tailored for each individual student based on their goals and I provide an engaging and welcoming space.

I am an energetic and motivational person, and I portray that through my lessons. I know how to make lessons fun and engaging, and in return I hope to advance not only my students’ proficiency, but also their passion for their instrument. I am ready, excited, and curious to any goals that my students may have to achieve on their journey of learning piano.

My lessons will be centered around 2 things: what will most efficiently advance my students’ skills and what will motivate them to continue learning piano. Learning the fundamental techniques ensures that learning harder content in the future will be easy. Furthermore, what’s the point of learning technique if you don’t get to learn what fun there is to your instrument? My lessons will be fun and engaging for students, and any playful exercises I introduce will only help to further my students’ skills.
