Piano Lessons in Crown Heights

I have over 10 years of experience in teaching guitar and piano for students at ages from 5 to 60 years old from beginner to professional level. My teaching settings vary from one-to-one lessons to group and band settings in music schools, elementary schools and kindergartens. In my class I always work situation oriented, focusing on the individual students to achieve what they want and need to learn. Throughout the years, I have worked with different teaching plans and ideas always going step by step from one level to the next. In my opinion, the most important thing for every student is learning new music as in songs or pieces. Exercises in technique or music theory are also necessary, but I always try to put them in relation to the piece of music we are working on, at the moment.

I am always open for the students’ personal taste in music and what they want to achieve. In the end, it is really all about the fun of playing an instrument and discovering the wonderful sounds of it.
