Piano Lessons in Concord

Music has always been a deeply personal part of my life, and that connection naturally shapes the way I teach. I care about helping students not only build strong technical skills, but also develop their own voice and sense of meaning in the music they play. In lessons, I aim to create a space that feels both supportive and thoughtfully challenging—where students feel comfortable being themselves, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace. I pay close attention to each student’s personality, interests, and learning style, adapting my approach to meet them where they are while gently encouraging them forward. I value the balance between discipline and creativity, emphasizing solid fundamentals while also making room for curiosity, interpretation, and personal expression. Teaching, for me, is as much about listening and understanding as it is about guiding, and I find it deeply rewarding to support students as they build confidence, resilience, and a lasting connection to music.
