Hi! My name is Theresa Romack (artist name is Dani Ivory), and I’m a Nashville-based music educator and professional musician with over 20 years of experience in both performance and teaching. I’ve taught private lessons and group classes for students of all ages, from early childhood through adults, in piano, voice, guitar, and ukulele. In addition to teaching, I actively perform and tour, which allows me to bring real-world, current industry experience into my lessons.

My teaching style is highly personalized and student-centered. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their individual goals, personality, and learning style. With younger students, I focus on building a strong musical foundation while also helping shape their musical tastes and curiosity. With older students and adults, I tap into the music they already love and use that as a gateway to develop technique, theory, and confidence.

What makes my lessons special is the balance between structure and creativity. I prioritize strong fundamentals, but I also make sure lessons are engaging, fun, and relevant. I want students to feel inspired, not just instructed. I also strive to be more than just a teacher. I aim to be a mentor, helping students build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong connection to music. My goal is for every student to leave each lesson feeling encouraged, accomplished, and excited to keep growing.
