Piano Lessons in Rogers

Greetings!

My name is Shari Cathcart-Sievert. Many of my students have called me Mrs. C or Mama C throughout the years. I have been a music teacher in some format for around 25 years. Some of my very first memories are of singing with my family and listening to my dad play his grand piano. I learned to play the piano myself, as well as the saxophone when I was around 12 years old.

I absolutely love teaching, performing and composing music! It’s a part of my soul, and the ability to share it with others is a gift that I cherish. I have sung and played “keys” on the stage in the church setting for many years, conducted choirs from preschool all the way through adults, taught private piano and voice lessons in my home studio, directed musicals, and taught music in the public school setting at all grade levels k-12.

I welcome all ages into my studio. I believe that anyone can learn to sing or play the piano, if they are willing to listen to their instructor and put their determination behind their practice. I promise we will find something to connect about when it comes to music. There are so many styles and genres. I believe in teaching the basics by helping my students have fun and love what they are learning and how we go about it during the lesson.
